CAPE provides training and educational programs designed to strengthen the campus community鈥檚 understanding of interpersonal harm, survivor support, and prevention. Opportunities range from brief educational presentations to specialized training programs for students, staff, and faculty.

CAPE 101

An introduction to CAPE's confidential services, prevention work, and ways students, staff, and faculty can connect with support.

Toro Support Project: Supporting Survivors of Sexual Assault

Explores ways to create a culture of care and belonging for people impacted by sexual harm through awareness, empathy, and community support.

Sexual Assault 101

Introduces sexual assault, consent, common myths, survivor impact, reporting options, and pathways to support and healing.

Supporting a Friend in an Abusive Relationship

Provides practical strategies for recognizing relationship harm and offering nonjudgmental peer support.

Intimate Partner Abuse and the Workplace

Explores how intimate partner violence can affect the workplace and ways staff and faculty can support colleagues experiencing harm.

Program Development Consultation

CAPE may also consult with student organizations, faculty, staff, and campus departments planning programs or events related to sexual assault, relationship abuse, or stalking. Consultation may include assistance with content development, trauma-informed approaches, resources, or connections to community partners.
