Payroll Calendars

The payroll calendars are managed by Payroll Services. View the schedules for faculty and staff pay day, payroll cut off, and student pay.


Positive Pay

Positive attendance is the term for employees whose regular payroll warrants are issued after the close of the pay period which include: Students, Hourly, Overtime, and Shift Differential.


Academic Pay

Dominguez Hills faculty employees are either appointed for a semester or an academic year. How faculty are appointed determines your pay schedule.

Day After Thanksgiving

The campus will close on Thanksgiving Day and the day after Thanksgiving so employees can enjoy the holidays. The day after Thanksgiving is a non-paid campus closure day.聽 However, employees may exercise options that will allow them to get paid. Religious Holidays

To observe religious holidays not designated by the State of California as official holidays, employees may use accumulated leave time, i.e. vacation, personal holiday or compensatory time off.聽 Within operational needs for the staffing of the department, supervisors are encouraged to permit employees to use such leave time for religious purposes.
