Information Sessions for Prospective Students听

Our Information Sessions begin in September, approximately one month prior to the following year's admissions cycle start date of October 1. To attend an information session, please identify which date you plan on attending on the schedule below and submit a RSVP form. Information Session attendees will receive more information about the event, including a campus map and/or a virtual link, 24 hours in advance of the scheduled day, date, and time.

Our听Social Work Department听Admissions听team highly suggests prospective students attend one of our MSW Program Information Sessions held on a monthly basis from September through January.

Prospective students have the opportunity听to听meet current students and faculty, and听to听learn more about:

    • CSUDH听MSW program鈥檚 Critical Race Theory/Intersectionality-focused curriculum;
    • The differences between our 2-year full-time and 3-year part-time option cohorts
    • Our MSW specializations:
      • Community Mental Health (CMH)
      • Children, Youth, and Families (CYF)
      • Community Capacity Building (CCB)
    • Our application process, including:
      • GPA requirements
