STEAM MAX

STEAM Max at CSUDH — Five-day program featuring app design, media production, and a final showcase. Students create iOS apps, edit videos using iPads, and present their projects at the STEAM Max Showcase. Includes mentorship from Fab Lab and Apple professionals, hands-on learning in app creation, pitching, and digital storytelling.

The STEAM Max is a semester-long program at ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉú, Dominguez Hills that empowers grades 3–12 students to solve real-world problems through the Prototype App Design Challenge. Over five sessions at the Toyota Center for Innovation in STEM Education (CISE), teams design mobile app prototypes while learning app development, storytelling, and public speaking. Supported by CSUDH Fab Lab Technicians and guided by Apple and CISE professionals, students gain access to industry tools and expertise.

The program culminates in the STEAM Max Showcase, where top teams present their prototypes to educators, professionals, and community leaders. STEAM Max builds technical skills, creativity, and confidence — while strengthening pathways to college and STEM careers.
