Fall 2025 DV Training Assessment Highlights

In Fall 2025, CAPE completed its first cohort of the 40-Hour Domestic Violence Counselor Training and conducted a post-training assessment to better understand participant learning, experience, and areas for growth.

This assessment is part of CAPE’s commitment to building equitable, accessible, and sustainable training programs that are responsive to participant feedback and the realities of campus-based advocacy work.

The findings from this assessment are guiding thoughtful revisions to the training curriculum, structure, and pacing. Based on this feedback, CAPE is currently refining the training to strengthen learning outcomes and better support future participants.

The next offering of the 40-Hour Domestic Violence Advocate Training is planned for Summer 2026. Updates and application information w ill be shared once the revised training schedule is finalized.
