Financial Aid & Financial Assistance Options
There are several financial assistance options available for students completing their MS Cyber Security degree.听
Federal Student Loans听
The U.S. Department of Education offers听low-interest loans to eligible students听to help cover the cost of higher education. Eligible students must be:
- admitted
- in good academic standing
- enrolled听at least听half-time (6 units) in a program leading to a degree, teaching credential, or approved certificate
If you are eligible for a Federal Student Loan, as a graduate student, you can only qualify for an Unsubsidized Federal Direct Loan, so you are responsible for all the interest that accrues on your loan. Based on the information provided on your FAFSA application, the听CSUDH Financial Aid Office听will determine your eligibility and the actual loan amount you may borrow each academic year. If deemed eligible, funding will come from听. These funds must be REPAID, and you will repay a Federal Direct Stafford Loan to the U.S. Department of Education.
