Health and Well-Being Student Opportunities

Health and Well-Being Ambassador Program

The Health and Well-Being (H&WB) Ambassador Program is a paid student leadership opportunity that allows students to promote health and wellness at CSUDH. Ambassadors receive training and provide education, resources, and peer support on a variety of health and wellness topics over the course of one academic year.

What Do Ambassadors Do?

  • build leadership and communication skills
  • receive training in various college health areas
  • develop H&WB marketing materials
  • promote H&WB services
  • assist with workshops, presentations, and discussions
  • develop and facilitate at least one workshop on campus
  • participate in Student Health Advisory Committee (SHAC)
  • manage H&WB social media platforms
  • collaborate with campus groups
  • actively engage with students through outreach

Internship Placement for Health Science - Community Health Majors

The Health Science Internship Placement within Health and Well-Being provides students with an opportunity to gain hands-on experience promoting health and wellness at CSUDH. Interns earn internship hours that contribute toward academic credit and commit to one academic semester while supporting education, outreach, and wellness initiatives.
