Course Description

This course covers the roles and responsibilities of the employer to educate and assign a competent person to excavation sites. Course topics include understanding and application of definitions relating to the OSHA Excavation Standard, excavation hazards, and soil analysis.

5. Explain inspection methods and support systems
6. Describe limitations and proper installation of protective equipment
7. Explain the formulation and application of emergency procedures
8. Identify the limitations of emergency applications.
