Graduate Equity Fellowship听(骋贰贵)

Graduate Equity Fellowship (GEF) program at CSUDH seeks to increase the diversity of students completing graduate degree programs, encourage further study in doctoral programs, and promote consideration of university faculty careers.

The program is designed to do so by providing financial support to graduate students with strong academic records. To be eligible for this fellowship, students must:

  • Be a California resident or have an AB540 affidavit on file with CSUDH;
  • Be admitted to a graduate program at CSUDH as a classified or conditionally classified student;
  • Complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or California Dream Act Application (CADAA);
  • Have financial need of at least $1,000;
  • Enroll at least half-time in an eligible graduate degree; and
  • Demonstrate potential to succeed in graduate school and to complete a graduate degree program as evidenced by undergraduate coursework and letters of recommendation.

Fellowships range from $500 to $5000 for the academic year. The maximum award period for any student is two years.

The Graduate Equity Fellowship is available to all who are interested to apply, regardless of race, sex, color, ethnicity or national origin.

Graduate Research Advancement & Development (GRAD) supports graduate students in their professional and academic development outside of the classroom in both research and creative activities.听

The Chancellor鈥檚 Doctoral Incentive Program (CDIP)

Who Can Apply

  • The program is open to applicants who will be new or continuing full-time students in doctoral programs at regionally accredited universities anywhere within the United States.
  • Each applicant is required to have a full-time tenure/tenure-track CSU faculty advisor who will provide professional mentoring and networking opportunities throughout the student鈥檚 educational experience.

The goal of the 好色先生 Chancellor's Doctoral Incentive Program (CDIP) is to increase the number of faculty with the qualifications, motivation, and skills needed to teach the diverse students of the CSU.

CDIP prepares promising doctoral students for CSU faculty positions by providing,and听resources.听It is听the largest program of its kind in the U.S.

Students applying to CDIP must submit their application by听February 1, 2026. It's highly recommended that you contact a听听to review your final application. Applications must be submitted to the CSU campus coordinator at which your CSU faculty mentor works.
