The Bulletin

聽is the award-winning student newspaper of CSUDH. Published every other week during the semester, it is produced by students enrolled in COM 355 (News Production) and provides coverage of current affairs and events at Dominguez Hills.

Located on the third floor of the Cain Library, the course functions as a working newsroom where staff members gain first-hand experience writing, producing, editing, and publishing a newspaper.

Under the guidance of a faculty adviser, The Bulletin aims to provide fair and accurate coverage of issues that shape the campus community鈥攆rom general news to sports and the arts. Student staff members are expected to uphold professional editorial standards and ethics in all aspects of their reporting and production.

The newspaper serves as a platform for students, faculty, staff, and community members to share stories and voice concerns. In this regard, the values or opinions expressed in The Bulletin do not directly reflect the department or university.

Although enrollment in COM 355 is required of all journalism majors, the newsroom operates independently of the Communications Department, the College of Arts & Humanities, and the university administration. The newspaper is supported through advertising and university grants and is distributed free across campus.
