Associated Students, Inc. (ASI)Ìý

Associated Students, Inc. (ASI) is the official student voice of ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉú, Dominguez Hills. ASI is a nonprofit, student-run corporation thatÌýmonitorsÌýapproximately $1.8ÌýmillionÌýof student activity fees. As your student government, ASI is dedicated to improving your college experience by advocating on your behalf. ASI provides many services that are available for all CSUDH students, such as the Child Development Center, KDHR radio, scholarships, and more. In addition to theÌývarious servicesÌýavailable, free events and programs are also offered such as concerts, seasonal programming, free hygiene products and scantrons in our office, mixers, educational panels and more. Cheer/DanceÌý

Intercollegiate AthleticsÌý

Our The CSUDH Athletics Department sponsors 10 intercollegiate athletic teams that compete at the NCAA Division II level.ÌýÌýThe Toros are members of the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA).ÌýÌýWidely considered the strongest Division II conference in the nation, the CCAA has earned 156 NCAA Division II National Championships, more than any other conference in the country.ÌýÌýThese include CSUDH track and field’s 2011 NCAA Championship in the 4x400 relay and men’s soccer’s 2008 NCAA Championship, the program’s second title in an eight-year stretch.ÌýÌýThe school fields teams in men’s and women’s basketball, softball, baseball, men’s golf, women’s outdoor track and field, men’s and women’s soccer, women’s volleyball, and Dance.ÌýÌýCSUDH offers students opportunities for involvement as both a student-athlete and as a fan.ÌýÌýAthletic facilities include the gymnasium (theÌýTorodome), a fitness center, training room, baseball and softball fields, a soccer stadium, tennis courts, track, and all-purpose field.ÌýÌýFor further information, please contact the CSUDH Athletics Department in SAC-3 at (310) 243-3983 or visit us atÌý.Ìý

International Student Services (ISS)Ìý

International Student Service (ISS) isÌýlocatedÌýwithin the Multicultural Affairs (MCA) in room 110 of the Loker Student Union. Office hours are 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday - Friday. International Student Services provides information, advising, advocacy and programming that will help international students integrate into the Dominguez Hills community while achieving their educational and personal goals. International Student Orientation ProgramsÌý

All newly admitted international students must attend a mandatory International Student Orientation Program. Students planning to attend the University in the fall 2013 should expect to receive an invitation to attend a summertime International Orientation program. IntramuralsÌý

The Intramurals program offers an opportunity for students to create their own team or join a team as a "free agent." This is your chance to compete with fellow students, faculty, and staff. Loker Student Union (LSU)Ìý

More than a building, the Loker Student Union (LSU) is the heart and community center of CSU, Dominguez Hills. The LSU provides valuable co-curricular and extracurricular experiences, programs and services designed to help students get the most out of their time at CSUDH.Ìý

In the Union, students, alumni, faculty, staff and guests can enjoy a wide variety of entertainment, grab a bite to eat, print a paper, meditate, take a nap, reserve a meeting room or space, host an event, enjoy social and quiet spaces, unwind in the game room, conduct a group study session, simply relax with friends, charge a mobile device, engage in student activities and more!  Currently enrolled students are also encouraged to develop leadership skills by becoming involved with the LSU Board of Directors or Activities Office. Each year, the CSUDH community joins together to celebrate our unique traditions of Welcome Week, and Homecoming Special event committeesÌýgather togetherÌýeach academic year in a spirit of collegiality andÌýa strong senseÌýof community to enrich campus spirit and foster a deeper connection between students and the University. These programs complement the educational curriculum of CSUDH with a primary goal of enhancing the college experience in collaboration with students, faculty, and staff. Currently, more than 110 student organizations currently take advantage of benefits and privileges afforded only to registered student-run organizations. The Veterans Resource Center (VRC) offers personalized support to veterans, active military members, and their dependents, helping them successfully navigate their college journey.
