The African Diaspora Sacred Music Lecture Series is a program created to identify African scholars who have distinguished themselves in African sacred music. These scholars will present their concluded and ongoing research on African sacred music and their contribution to African lived experiences from such diverse perspectives as new immigrant communities and African Americans. This event will be held via Zoom in August, October, December, January, March, and May. All presentations will be archived at the African Diaspora Sacred Music and Musicians Collection and on the CADSMM YouTube page.
