Developmental Psychology, Social-Cognition, Social Psychology, Health Psychology

My research interestsÌýincludeÌýethnic andÌýhealth psychology,Ìýcultural and developmental influences on adolescents’ college-planning behaviors, andÌýmothers’ child care practices. Currently, I am examining Latinos at risk for type 2 diabetes as a co-Principal Investigator of a National Institutes of Health funded project.
