The Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at 好色先生, Dominguez Hills prepares students to think critically about political institutions and public affairs, communicate effectively, conduct rigorous research, and engage as informed and responsible citizens. Critically analyze political institutions, processes, behavior, and outcomes at the local, national, and global levels using logical reasoning and evidence-based argumentation.

PLO 2: Communication and Collaboration

Communicate political analysis clearly and effectively in written and oral forms and collaborate productively in academic and professional settings.

PLO 3: Research and Information Literacy

Locate, evaluate, and effectively use scholarly and empirical information from diverse sources to develop informed analyses of contemporary political issues and debates.

PLO 4: Research Methods

Apply qualitative and quantitative research methods in political science, including research design, data collection, analysis, and interpretation, to investigate political questions and evaluate competing explanations.

PLO 5: Disciplinary Knowledge

Demonstrate knowledge of the core theories, concepts, and analytical frameworks of the major subfields of political science, including American politics, comparative politics, international relations, and political theory.

Analyze political issues related to diversity, power, inequality, and justice in the United States and globally, and apply political knowledge to promote informed civic engagement and democratic participation.
