ANNOUNCEMENTS

• On November 7, 2025, Brian Gregor delivered a paper, 鈥淎I as Revelation?听 A Technological Crisis for the Religious Imagination,鈥� at the annual conference of the Society for Ricoeur Studies.听 The conference was hosted by Fordham University in New York City.

• On October 30, 2025, the Academic Technology Committed, the Department of Philosophy, and the Committee on Technology Ethics co-hosted a panel on thinking critically and ethically about the place of AI in the academy.听 There was a strong turnout from students, faculty, and staff alike. 听The following Philosophy faculty gave presentations:

• On Friday, April 25 the CSUDH Philosophy Club hosted "A Philosophical Roundtable" in the Innovation and Instruction building. A great time was had by all. The following students presented papers, followed by lively discussion.

• Dana S. Belu presented the keynote paper "The New Adam: A Heideggerian Look at Reproduction in the Present Age" at the Disentangling Heidegger on Technology Retreat, Laives, Italy, June 16-23rd, 2024; organizers Mark Wrathall and Jonathan Krude, Oxford University.听
• Brian Gregor published a pair of essays, 鈥淭oward an Ontology of Peace I: Ricoeur on Peace and Violence in the Ontology of Creation,鈥� and 鈥淭oward an Ontology of Peace II: Ricoeur on the Heart of Conflict and Thumotic Peace鈥� in a special issue of the journal听Approaching Religion.
