Serving on the CSUDH Philanthropic Foundation board is a great privilege and opportunity for strategic leaders who are passionate about the university鈥檚 mission.

Members of the Philanthropic Board will be selected for their individual skills and passion for CSUDH. They will assist in providing advice to the University president and advocacy for the more than 15,000 well-educated future employees and leaders in the region. Each member will serve at least one three-year term where they will be active in at least one committee and collectively manage the University鈥檚 endowment.

Welcome from the Board Chair

Established as an interdependent non-profit organization in 2015, the CSUDH Philanthropic Foundation is a charitable successor to the CSUDH Foundation.听 It is a pleasure to serve with you on the Foundation's board. We are a diverse group of professionals who work together in support of CSUDH Dominguez Hills. We believe in the university鈥檚 mission and want to help ensure that students receive a first-rate education and obtain their degrees.

We serve as advocates and ambassadors for the university. Our role is to connect the administration with potential partners and funders that can support the university鈥檚 students and institutional initiatives. We also have fiduciary responsibility for overseeing endowment investments, from which annual earnings fund endowed scholarships and programs.

Your service on the board can be a richly rewarding experience. There is so much need and there are so many ways that you can help make a difference. Keep your eyes open for potential connections with outside organizations that align with the university鈥檚 mission. Please make CSU Dominguez Hills your top philanthropic priority. Remember that the students are at the heart of the university and helping them succeed here can change their lives.
