BIO

Dr. Patricia (Pattie) Briceño, OTD, OTR/L, ATP, is an occupational therapist and certified Assistive Technology Professional with extensive experience in clinical practice and higher education. She serves as Adjunct Faculty in the Department of Occupational Therapy at ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉú, Dominguez Hills, where she teaches OTR 569: Adaptive and Assistive Technology and OTR 785: OT Professional Seminar. Her teaching emphasizes the legal, clinical, and practical applications of assistive technology to enhance occupational performance and support individuals with diverse needs.

In addition to her academic role, Dr. Briceño is the District Assistive Technology Specialist and District Occupational Therapist for the Lawndale Elementary School District. She provides leadership in assistive technology implementation, trains educators, collaborates with IEP/504 teams, and delivers occupational therapy services to students from preschool through middle school. Her work focuses on accessibility, inclusive learning environments, and interdisciplinary collaboration to promote student growth and curriculum access.
