SCHOLARSHIP AGENDA

When Dr. Swiatek held the position as Academic Fieldwork Coordinator, Dr. Swiatek's scholarship of integration was addressed through the relationships established with interprofessional colleagues (Fieldwork Educators) such as directors of rehabilitation, physical and occupational therapy practitioners, as well as other professionals. Dr. Swiatek's scholarship of application was built into his role of mentor and advisor to ensure the most successful fieldwork experience for CSUDH MSOT students.聽 His scholarship of discovery is reflected in his writings and research addressing health care inequalities among marginalized, underserved populations which have appeared in OT Practice, The Open Journal of Occupational Therapy, and the Internet Journal of Allied Health Sciences and Practice.
