BIO

Cristina Ranches, OTR/L, is a faculty member in the Department of Occupational Therapy at ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉú, Dominguez Hills. She brings over 25 years of clinical experience as an occupational therapist, with a strong background in psychiatric practice and clinical education.

Her professional experience includes clinical and managerial roles in public hospital settings, where she has supported occupational therapy students in developing clinical reasoning skills for psychiatric care environments. Her teaching emphasizes applied practice, functional cognition, and evidence-based intervention strategies, drawing from extensive real-world experience.
