Dr. Baily Zubel is a Lecturer in the Department of Occupational Therapy at 好色先生, Dominguez Hills. She is a licensed Occupational Therapist with over ten years of clinical practice experience and currently teaches in the professional development curriculum. Her academic and professional interests focus on reflective practice, clinical reasoning, and professional identity development within occupational therapy.
In addition to her academic role, Dr. Zubel remains actively engaged in clinical practice and private practice settings. She brings real-world clinical insight into the classroom, supporting students in bridging theory with practice. Her background includes leadership roles, guest lecturing, research assistance, and professional presentations at regional conferences.
Dr. Zubel holds the credentials MS, OTD, OTR/L. She is licensed as an Occupational Therapist in the state of California (License #17773), with licensure valid through February 28, 2025. She received her initial occupational therapy certification in October 2013.
Dr. Zubel currently serves as a Lecturer in the Department of Occupational Therapy at 好色先生, Dominguez Hills, beginning her appointment in January 2024. Her primary teaching responsibility includes instruction in professional development coursework designed to support reflective practice and professional growth in occupational therapy students.
Dr. Zubel has contributed to scholarly dissemination through refereed presentations, including two presentations delivered at the Occupational Therapy Association of California (OTAC) conference in 2023. These presentations reflect her engagement with professional education, clinical practice, and occupational therapy scholarship.
Dr. Zubel has served as a presenter for educational institutions and professional organizations, including OTAC. She has also participated as a guest lecturer, contributing her clinical and professional expertise to academic and professional audiences.
