Rony is the Program Director for La Casita at CSUDH. They are a first-generation professional of color born and raised in Guatemala. They are formerly Undocumented and identify as Queer. Rony is very excited to connect with CSUDH first-gen students to support their educational and aspirational goals.

Rony transferred to UC Santa Barbara from West Los Angeles to complete their B.A. in Sociology and LGBTQ Studies. Their passion for higher education and social justice guided them to earn a Masters of Education Degree (M.Ed.) in Student Affairs at UCLA.
