The Associated Students, Inc. (ASI)聽聽is dedicated to creating an environment that supports the unique developmental needs of each child. We believe that understanding how children鈥檚 abilities progress, along with providing a rich academic program that balances teacher-guided and child-initiated experiences, is crucial in fostering physical, cognitive, social, and emotional growth鈥攌ey components of school readiness and preparation for kindergarten. We are committed to treating children with respect, courtesy, dignity, patience, and compassion. Through interactions with their environment, materials, and peers, children develop essential skills such as respect, self-regulation, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and empathy.聽

Recognizing that parents are a child鈥檚 first and most influential teachers, our staff actively partners with families to support their child鈥檚 development. We believe that strong family and community connections are vital to early childhood education, providing a foundation for children鈥檚 growth and learning.聽The CDC聽fosters inclusive collaboration聽among families, educators, and the community, ensuring children have access to high-quality early learning experiences. Through this network, parents gain access to valuable resources and professional support, strengthening their role in advocating for their child鈥檚 well-being.聽

The ASI Child Development Center offers early childhood education services for children of student parents, staff, faculty, and the community. Our comprehensive program provides a nurturing, high quality learning environment for children aged聽18 months聽to 5聽years. 鈥疌onveniently聽located聽northeast of the聽Birchknoll聽Drive entrance to campus,聽adjacent to聽Gate F and Parking Lot 1, we are open Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. For more information, please call (310) 243-1015 or visit our website.聽
