Entrepreneur and CSUDH alumna Brittany Golden founded IGL Nails after leaving her corporate communications career during the 2020 pandemic. After nail shops closed, she began learning to do her own acrylic nails but disliked committing to one design style. When she looked for press-on nails at popular drug stores, she realized that none of the styles offered were unique, colorful, or at the lengths and sizes she desired. This experience inspired her to create IGL Nails, a nail-bed size inclusive press-on nail brand. Since starting her company, IGL Nails has been featured in KTLA, Yahoo, & InStyle Magazine. Brittany also had the opportunity to participate in Goldman Sachs鈥 inaugural Black in Business cohort where she won first place during the graduation pitch competition, and she placed second on Revolt and Target鈥檚 entrepreneurship series Bet on Black.
