Research Overview

I focus on improving the safety of drinking water by mitigating contaminants of emerging concern.Ìý I work closely with local and regional water agencies to develop interventions and strategies for combating toxic water pollutants.Ìý My research interests include mitigation of emerging contaminants and toxic disinfection byproduct formation at drinking water, recycled water and advanced water treatment plants, identification of new toxic contaminants and transformation products and developing and improving treatment strategies for these contaminants.
