Siskanna Naynaha听received her Ph.D. in English from Washington State University. Her research and teaching interests include Latinx and African American rhetorics, composition theory, writing center/tutoring pedagogy, and writing across the curriculum. Dr. Naynaha鈥檚 most recent presentations include 鈥淲AC/WID Programs for Dangerous Times,鈥 which she presented at the 2017 Conference on College Composition and Communication in Portland, Oregon, and 鈥淏eyond Transfer: Difference, Inclusion, and WAC/WID in the 21st Century,鈥 presented at the 2016 International Writing Across the Curriculum Conference in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Her critique of writing placement practices in higher education, 鈥淎ssessment, Social Justice, and Latinxs in the U.S. Community College,鈥 appeared in a recent special issue of听College English听dedicated to assessment as social justice. Dr. Naynaha teaches undergraduate composition courses, including Early Start English, and Writing Center/Tutoring Pedagogy (offered for both undergraduate and graduate credit).
