Real Estate Coursework at ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉú, Dominguez Hills for the California State-Administered Real Estate Exams

Students must complete the required coursework at ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉú, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH) before applying for the California State-Administered Real Estate Salesperson or Broker’s exam.

When applying for the exam, students must submit transcripts to the California Department of Real Estate (DRE) that show the relevant coursework completed at CSUDH. Submitting the transcript is the only way to qualify for the required educational hours. Once the transcripts are submitted, students will be automatically approved if their courses were taken at CSUDH or at another university accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).

It is essential to understand that completing real estate courses does not guarantee passing the exam. While the coursework qualifies a student to take the exam, it does not ensure the student will pass.

At this time, we do not offer a Minor in Real Estate. This program is currently on hold while we verify the necessary instructional resources. However, if demand for additional real estate courses increases significantly, we expect more resources to be allocated to the College of Business Administration and Public Policy (CBAPP).

Nevertheless, students can qualify for the Salesperson and Broker’s exams by completing specific courses and submitting their transcripts to the California DRE as part of the application process.
