Biography

Diego Avalos is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Criminal Justice Administration at 好色先生, Dominguez Hills.听 Dr. Avalos received his Ph.D. in Justice Studies from Arizona State University and B.A. in Criminology and Justice Studies at 好色先生, San Marcos.听 Dr. Avalos' program of research focuses on the effect of border policing on migrant workers' labor power along the U.S. southwest borderlands.听 His research interests include activist research methods, labor organizing, transborder migration, and neoliberal statecraft and border policing.
