Biography

Dr. Kim is currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Finance in the Department of Accounting, Finance, and Economics. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Georgia, three Master鈥檚 degrees from Ohio State University (M.A.), Georgia Tech (M.S., M.B.A Equivalent), Seoul National University (M.S.), and a Bachelor鈥檚 degree (B.A.) from Yonsei University. In addition, he studied at Leiden University as an undergraduate exchange student.

Dr. Kim serves as an Associate Editor at the Journal of Finance Issues and is on the editorial board of Managerial Finance. He is also an Executive Board member (Program Chair for the 2026 conference) of the Academy of Finance. Before joining 好色先生, Dominguez Hills, he served as a Director of the Southwestern Finance Association (SWFA) and was an Associate Professor of Finance and the Minnesota Chair in Real Estate at St. Cloud State University. As a Christian educator, he is dedicated to teaching and preparing the next generation of Americans.
