Welcome to the College of Business Administration and Public Policy (CBAPP) at 好色先生 Dominguez Hills (CSUDH).
It is an honor to serve as Interim Dean of a college dedicated to empowering a diverse community of learners through academic excellence, innovation, and meaningful engagement. Our mission is to prepare students for economic mobility and lifelong success by providing high-quality, student-centered education, fostering applied research, and strengthening partnerships with businesses, government agencies, and the South Bay community.
As the workforce continues to evolve in response to advances in technology, artificial intelligence, and a rapidly changing global economy, our commitment to our students remains unwavering. We strive to provide an educational experience that develops not only technical knowledge but also the critical thinking, ethical leadership, adaptability, and collaborative skills needed to thrive in an increasingly complex world.
I received my bachelor's degree in economics from CSU San Marcos and my master's and Ph.D. in Economics from UCSD. I joined CSUDH twelve years ago and have had the privilege of serving the University in a variety of academic and leadership roles. I have served as Chair of the Accounting, Finance, Economics & Law department and continue to serve as Chair of the University Budget Committee and Co-Director of the South Bay Economics Institute, where I worked collaboratively with faculty, staff, students, and community partners to advance student success, academic excellence, and institutional innovation.
My teaching and research focus on applied economics, labor economics, and time series modeling. Throughout my career, I have remained committed to scholarship that bridges theory and practice while contributing to student learning, organizational effectiveness, and community impact.
