Terry McGlynn is Professor of Biology at CSU Dominguez Hills and appointed as a Research Fellow in Entomology at the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County. He completed his Bachelor鈥檚 degree in Biology at Occidental College, and his PhD in Environmental, Population, and Organismic Biology from the University of Colorado. He is an elected Fellow of the Ecological Society of America, and is an expert on the biology of ants and ecology of tropical rainforests.聽聽

His laboratory currently investigates climate resilience in animals by understanding the evolution and ecology of the thermal properties of the surface of animals, such as bird feathers and insect exoskeletons.
